What are The Best Exercises For Pecs?

The Essentials to Muscle Building

When it comes to building your pecs and muscle mass it is essential that you follow a workout routine that is tailored to your needs and your muscle building goals you desire to achieve. Every one is different. In regards to body and muscle function and what each individual wants to achieve in his or her bodybuilding journey. It is the responsibility of the individual to figure out what works and what doesn’t for their specific needs. There is no cookie cutter weight training, muscle building formula, or a one size fits all. We are all unique in the way our body functions. What works and what doesn’t work is up to you to figure out.

Here we will be looking at a few methods and exercises that can be used for maximizing your muscle mass. So hopefully you are ready to start implementing these techniques and advice I have for you in your daily workout routine.

1. Forms of Pec Exercises-

Dumbbell Flys: This exercise I believe is the most beneficial for the pectoral muscle to really feel a stretch and contraction during the workout being executed. To get the most out of it make sure you connect your mind to the muscles you are targeting. As this will further increase the rate at which the muscle is increasing its mass. Trust me, this is the technique the pros use and you should incorporate it in every training.

Dumbbell Press: This exercise seems to be more targeted with the chest muscles that you want to build up. These are more beneficial than the bench press itself due to the fact that you have more of a concentration on working the muscle out and feeling it being worked. Rather than simply worrying about pushing that weight up. As well as the benefits you get from using each arm individually for pushing up the weight. Allowing each arm to handle the same load. When Bench Pressing there is a big possibility that one arm can be pushing more weight than the other. Which is not a good thing. You want your muscles to be balanced.

Bench Press: We all love to hit the bench. Don’t we? It is the first thing we tend to want to hit when hitting the gym. Although as laid out above, the dumbbell press is more beneficial to the pecs. The bench press is still a exercise that should be incorporated because of the benefits from it. However, you should try to perform some variations of the bench press such as the incline bench press and decline bench press.
